Noise

 

        The good weather arrives and with them the maintenance machines of green spaces too: mowers, tillers, chainsaws, brush cutters, as well as fires.

We must not forget that the beautiful days are also synonymous with meals outside, barbecues, walks in the garden ...

Also, so that you can all continue to enjoy your outdoors either to mow or to rest there, the municipality has set up very specific time slots applied by practically all municipalities - and in any case sufficiently extensive - during which the use of mowers and other motor vehicles is tolerated. We ask you to respect them:

 

WITH RESPECT TO NOISE : In application of the Noise Act of 1992, DIY or gardening work carried out by individuals using tools or devices likely to cause discomfort for the neighborhood, due to their loudness, such as lawn mower, chainsaw, drill, etc. …, Can only be carried out:

 

Every day of the week: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday and public holidays: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

CONCERNING FIRES : From May 1 to October 31 in the Meuse, all fires are prohibited at a distance of less than 100 m from roads, 20 m from paths, 200 m from homes, 200 m from woods and forests and 400 m for softwoods. Regarding stubble, straw and crop waste fires, please refer to the legislation in force and make a declaration to the SDIS (forms are available at the Town Hall).
